Mareks Mejeris
Mareks Mejeris (born September 2, 1991) is a Latvian professional basketball player, who plays the small forward and power forward position. He currently plays for Latvian team VEF Rīga.
==Professional career==
He started his pro career in 2009 with his hometown team BK Liepājas Lauvas and after couple of seasons there he moved to Spain. His first team abroad was CB Clavijo from LEB Gold where he played two seasons. After 2012-13 season Mejeris went to USA for NBA pre-draft workouts,〔http://www.diena.lv/sodien-laikraksta/mejeris-atradas-nba-klubiem-14012666〕 but went undrafted.
In August 2013, he signed with Fuenlabrada〔http://www.baloncestofuenlabrada.com/noticias/fichajemejeris/〕 of the Liga ACB. During mid-season he was loaned to Ford Burgos where he helped team to win LEB Gold playoffs and earn promotion to Liga ACB.
